Wub Lab

One person, one rhythm game, and one rule: you play on your own music.

Wub Lab writes its games in Kotlin, with no engine and as few dependencies as possible. No tracker, no catalog to rent. Zip Zop is the studio’s first game.

One rule

No tracker and no player profile, neither on this site nor in the game, and this site has no cookie: the game only counts, anonymously, what happens to the artists’ songs, to report it to them. The game is free and shows a Google AdMob ad between songs, never during a game: it uses the phone’s advertising ID (in Europe, you first choose whether it may be personalized), and a one-time “no ads” purchase removes it; its shop, paid for in wubs earned by playing or bought, offers cosmetics and nothing that affects the score. The game’s external services are Firebase (account, Jukebox, leaderboards, progression), Google AdMob (advertising) and Google Play (purchases, local play), detailed in the privacy policy.
